Getting Stuff Done

Last Friday, I set a challenge for myself to start making our house feel like a "HOME". You can read about the challenge HERE.  Well, I actually did something to the room!! I won't say that it is complete yet but it is an improvement. (well I think so and... it is my house ).

Here is our gallery wall. I love it because I have been able to include family's, friend's and my own works of art.

It's not a new couch but I am loving the fresher colour scheme, created by the throw pillows.

My oasis on the fireplace (bringing me peace so I can bare to look at it).

Not too shabby, eh?

So there it is, my work in progress! I still need to come up with an area rug and decide on some window treatments. I would also like to pick up some type of storage unit for the play corner. I would love any suggestions in regards to decor for any or all of the rooms I post!
